How could they?!?!

I can't believe that they decieved me...i feel so stupid!

I can't even think about them, let alone look at them...

Katie and i have even witnessed all of the stupid signs..but we didn't pick up on a thing...

Growing Up

Sometimes, I just want to grow up, really fast.
You know, become an adult, instead of a teenager.
Just like in those Hollywood movies..they make everything look so easy.

But then, the reality hits me, and i find myself hoping that i stay a child for longer or praying that just before i'm an adult, the ground gives way and swallows me whole.

It's scary, isn't it? Growing up. What if, i get a really bad job, can't keep up with the bills, lose my house and become homeless???? I'd cry my eyes out...even just the thought sends a bitter chill down my spine.

Or, what if, i get an okay-ish job, but have loads of money problems? I wouldn'y be able to handle that.

But then again, being an adult does have its perks. It's like, when you see a mother and her child/children, and see how happy they are, you can't help but smile..:)

But, when i remember all the negative points, my smile soon fades. Rasing children would be difficult too, having to care for someone else when you can't even take care of yourself...imagine that...

People don't like to talk about the negatives. To be honest, i'm scared, frightened even , of growing up. I lok at adults, and ask myself " How do they cope???"
It must be hard, atleast as a child, all we need to worry about is homework. I can'y compete with the world...how am i going to manage?

Everyone else has a plan.."i'm going to be..." blah blah blah, but i know that they'll change their minds a million times before they finally decide.
I'm not ready for growing up yet, so i think i'll hold onto my childhood for a bit longer.

Everything was fine last week.
Actually, it was..perfect, until he came home that is.
He was gone for the week, off to Somerset with his prinary school chums.
I had such a care-free week without him.
Really.
Everything was brilliant..i was spending more and more time with my crush, and on friday it was jokes at school. Everyone was messing about, and wow...a day like that comes once in a lifetime.
Nothing could ruin this day...
or so i thought....

I came home, and the first thing i hear is "SARA!" *great* i sigh to myself. but to be honest, he wasn't that bad.
It was only when our dad came home.
He was so rude to me, and even though Abdi hit me first, he was on Abdis side, and he SAW him bloody hit me!!!

I was so angry...i really don't understand him...
grr....
i hate him sometimes...
and he kept having a go at me...
over stupid things...
as if he wasn't a child once...

I know teenagers aren't classed as children..but we are? aren't we?
And thank god, i don't want those big stresses over money, and having to feed your family....

People forget about that, they want to grow up too fast.
